How do these songs ever pertain to Texas if we are always in the 70's?It's the time to pull out my Glee Christmas cd and the constent different renditions of Christmas music on the radio. Don't get me wrong I do love christmas music but after hearing them in  so may different ways you can't help but want to change the station, but catch me in July and I will gladly listen to any Christmas song.As I sit writing a list of people I'm going to give cards to, I can vividly remember the Christmas cards  my mom taped to the china cabinet, there where so many that they covered the entire glass you could hardly see all the gazillion tea sets my mom has (forbidden to touch). I do have to ask myself though: Have people lost their Christmas spirit? By no means am I calling anyone a Grin...

I can't remember the details of our first year we went on our Mission Trip to Piedras Negras, Mexico. I was new at the whole idea of helping others. The years to come are very vivid in my mind. I rememeber meeting Maria and Juanito and their other sibling.We build a roof connecting their house to the church that they had build the previous year. I remember seeing everyone hammering and nailing, hanging and holding. When I was in high school I remember in Sunday school, my brother-in-law Joe always talking about when ever you get older, no matter what happens in your life, no matter what struggles you go through and who you meet, you always come back to your first love. My immature 16 year self never got the concept of that. Hola! (in my Lety voice)Today is the first official day of summer, what! It has felt like summer since Christmas(but then again, I live in Texas so that's NO surprise) So much has happened this couple of months so much change, so much death, so much life. It all makes you appreciate and be thankful for what you have. About two months ago some family members came down from Dallas. My great-granny who is a gazillion years, no not really more like 98  hehehe, my aunt, and my cousins Beto and Abraham and his daughter. WOW! I haven't seen them in so long. We always talked about going up to Dallas so that they would see the kids, but because of wrong timing, working and even laziness we never had time to go up to Dallas.I remember the last time I was in Dallas was when my cousin Sandy was getting married, it was the best time ever. We played,laughed and got quizzed on why one of my cousins had a tattoo of a moon..( we couldn't figure out for the life of us) ...

First, I do not claim to be an excellent writer. I do not put commas where they are suppose to be and  type to fast to even notice that I misspelled words.One thing for sure is that I love to talk and write. I always wanted to be a youtube sensation by  doing what , I have no clue...So I decided to blog instead. My life is pretty simple. I have a love for Jesus, that sometimes I wonder why he choose me, but all I can say is I thank him for his grace and mercy. As many of you may know I can not go a day without updating my status on facebook with a bible verse.( I have been lacking in that department though.) I believe that facebook is great way to spread God's word and  do want to use it for the good of the world. If you know me you also know that I can not stop talking about my niece, nephew, godson, and cousin. I love them so much, I love babies in general.
